G20 Driver Launches Ball High

Golf game is more and more popular now. No matter you are a professional golfer, or a beginner, you should consider investing in a right club. I recommend the new ping g20 driver to you. If you've just taken up golf as a leisure or week-end sport, you may want to invest in a good set of golf clubs to raise your motivation levels. It is very important to own good golf clubs to any golfer!
Ping has been on the market for a long time, and their products have continued to impress professional and amateur golfers around the world. The stylish and innovative designs of their golf clubs deliver extreme functionality and convenience for golfers who trust only the number one manufacturer of golfing equipment. And the g20 driver released recently is an improved performer.

Ping G20 Driver made its public debut last week at the PGA Tour's FedEx St, the Ping G20 Driver is for all ability levels. The Ping G20 Driver has a heavier head than G15 for greater force at impact. The reconfigured clubhead — 5 percent higher moment of inertia on heel or toe hits — combines with a light, 45.75-inch "high-balance point" shaft (TFC 169D or TFC 169D Tour) to boost clubhead speed and, thus, distance. Specifically, the TFC 169D shaft has more flexible tip and butt sections for softer feel.

This Ping G20 Driver will aesthetically appeal to players who prefer a more traditional look. It has a heavier head than G15 (7 grams more than standard) for greater force at impact. Additional backweighting and a more elongated face shore up misses. A driver head reacts at impact by bending, or flexing. This impacts the overall sound and feel of the club, as well as how the ball comes off the club.  Its 460cc titanium head is longer front to back and features PING's patented ultra thin crown technology. Weight savings from the thin crown are positioned as an external sole weight to optimize the center of gravity of the Ping G20 Driver for higher trajectories and reduced spin.

Ping G20 Driver has the following features. The external weighting of the G20 driver helps launch the ball high with low spin for maximum distance and accuracy. Distance is generated with a new version of Ping's proprietary high-balance-point shaft technology, which allows the golfer to swing a heavier clubhead at the same speed with a high moment of inertia. The clubface on the 460cc head is larger, creating more forgiveness across the hitting area and the G20 driver's head rotation is neutral, allowing the golfer to deliver the clubface straight at impact.

Take G20 to the Next Level

I read a very interesting article recently in the Wall Street Journal about your golf swing and your overall health. It quoted several sources that the quality of your golf swings and your yardage off the tee may provide some telling insights into your overall health picture. What will they think of next?

No seriously there were some big names in these statistics. Golf Digest, the American Dietetic Association, and Golf Health. Here are some interesting statistics from Golf Digest: Eighty percent of golfers suffer from pain injury or illness, twenty seven percent have back pain, sixty six percent are overweight, and thirty percent have played with a hangover.
Here are some of the potential conclusions that your swing might lead to:

–If your drives off of the tee are short, it may indicate a flexibility problem. Lack of flexibility often indicates a sedentary lifestyle which can lead to health problems.

–If you have a persistent fade or draw, it could be indicative of posture problems. Posture issues can indicate the possibility of arthritis or other joint problems as you get older.
–If your golf swing is really erratic and you can’t get consistency, this could possibly indicate that you lack strength in your “core” muscles.

–If your golf game falls apart after a bad shot, this might indicate that you internalize stress a lot. Doing this in all walks of your daily life can possibly lead to heart disease and other problems down the road.

So after I read this, I am thinking, “What are they really trying to say?”. Are they saying that most golfers are out of shape and at risk for their health? Are they saying that if you aren’t a single digit handicap you better get to the doctor? My guess is no on all counts.

My ball trajectory for this 9.5 degree driver was between 11-12 degrees for most shots – and spin in the range of 3300 RPM. Workability was exceptional; again likely due to how the club feels at address, high draws and fades happened with little effort. In terms of overall feel, again the Ping G20 Driver does not disappoint one bit. Off-center hits still felt solid, and center strikes produced great feel, and a solid sound (not tinny, not dull – just right). Accuracy was a final item to note – dispersion was quite tight with this Ping g20 driver, even off-center hits remained closer to our target line. When stepped on (I pushed this g20 driver to 110 MPH) the shaft kept up, spin rates and trajectory increased slightly, but we managed to get some extra yards without sacrificing accuracy or feel.

Ping Rapture V2, Armed For Power

I’ve been asked many times how I can at 1.75m and 70kg hit the ball as far, if not further than guys bigger than me. I have been clocked at a swing speed of 132 mph and have a personal best of 342 yards.
The long ball is sexy. It is something that many strive for but few attain. First, I want to thank resident Golf Guru, Paul Smith for extending this opportunity to share on long driving.

This article assumes that readers have faithfully followed the articles in this series. I will assume that you have a flat left wrist, have lagged and your PING Rapture V2 Driver shaft is on plane. If you lack any of these and are not even sure what they are, please drop the Guru an email and he will sort you out.

The main thesis of this theory is that the big muscles should control and power the swing.

Consider this – Do you reach for a cup of coffee while pondering how high to raise your deltoids – even though they are raised as your hands reach for the coffee?

However, when you reach for the cup of coffee with your hands your body does move in response to what your hands are doing. Your hands are the most sensitive extremities in your body. Why shouldn’t you use them in your golf as you do in daily living?

Research has shown that the body only contributes 10% of power to the golf swing, whereas the speed of the hands and their actions contribute 90% of power. Further “transferring” your weight from the back foot to the front foot creates only 2mph of body speed – which only increases PING Rapture V2 Driver head speed if your timing is inch perfect.

The physics formulas involved show that the work necessary to propel the PING Rapture V2 Driver head from 80 mph to 110 mph will be doubled. Which is why the 10% speed that the body supplies cannot add much clubhead speeds.

I’ve absolutely no doubt that many will read this and misconstrue what I say to the effect of: “He says to just use the hands and not the body.” An emphatic no – I said use the hands and the body will follow with all its might.

I’ve had the privilege of speaking with high level hockey, tennis and softball coaches. Never do they teach their players to “use the body”; instead the emphasis is always on the hands and to move them faster.

Keys to Perfect Short Game

THE FIRST RULE OF THE SHORT GAME IS TO PUTT BEFORE YOU CAN CHIP
Which means that just because you’re not on the green doesn’t mean you can’t putt. The skill requirement in putting a ball is much less than it is for a chip shot. So whenever you can putt prior to chipping, do so. At many links style and sand-belt courses in Melbourne, putting can and should be the first choice from off the green and sometimes quite a distance off the green.

Although the PING iWi Series CRAZ-E Putter is the first choice from off the green, the further away you are from the green the more unpredictable the roll will be.

THE SECOND RULE OF THE SHORT GAME IS TO CHIP BEFORE YOU PITCH

So once you’ve decided you can no longer putt the ball the goal should be to elevate the ball just enough so it covers the fairway ground, rolling out like a putt. Too often I see golfers trying to fly the ball back to the hole no matter what the distance; this is fraught with danger and breads inconsistency. Sure a tour player that practices for long hours can learn how to control one or two clubs around the green. Though for most golfers they will do better following the concept of varying the PING iWi Series CRAZ-E Putter not the swing and sticking to another all-important concept of minimum airtime and maximum ground time when chipping.

At this point it’s important to pick out a landing zone, generally a few paces on the green. I like to imagine your chipping onto an area the size of a small towel. Stick to the concepts discussed on the previous paragraph and remember, when you chip your target isn’t the pin it’s your landing zone. So choose a club that can carry comfortably onto the green letting the ball release out to the hole.
THE THIRD RULE OF THE SHORT GAME IT TO PITCH BEFORE YOU LOB
A controlled pitch swing should represent a mini full swing, with a medium to high trajectory, following the concept of maximum airtime and minimum ground time. Too often I see golfers attempting to lob the ball way up in the air with their 60 degree wedge. Most tour player’s pitch with their 56 degree sand-wedge, employing a slight descending blow on the ball thus controlling the trajectory and spin. Different distances require a changeup in length of swing and pace of swing, so factor that in when regulating your pitch shots.
I’m hope this has shed some light on some of the key rules and concepts of the short game. Coming soon will be the techniques used to hit these shots with control and consistency.

Rapture V2 Irons Provide Maximum Distance

The Ping Rapture V2 Irons released in 2008 are a game improvement club, primarily designed and made for the mid to high handicap golfer. The Rapture V2 Irons are meant to make the game of golf as easy as possible.

The ping v2 rapture irons have been an incredible success story in the super game improvement iron category for a couple years now. For 2009, Ping outdid themselves with the new Rapture V2 irons. Building on the solid foundation of the original Rapture irons, the V2s offer even more forgiveness and feel in a smart looking package.

The Ping Rapture V2 Irons result from Ping's investment in multi-metal technology that combines the key properties of various materials to deliver a club that produces an optimal performance. The Ping Rapture V2 Iron is made up or a tungsten sole weight, a titanium face and a stainless steel body to allow for an innovative game improvement design.

The Ping Rapture V2 irons leverage the multi-metal technology to not only launch the ball longer, but also higher and with more accuracy. Now you can hit those soaring iron approach shots that go high and long and yet land softly on the green. If you are sick of missing greens or facing those monster birdie putts, the Rapture V2 irons will quickly solve that problem.

The ping rapture v2 irons for sale have a dense tungsten sole weight which positions the center of gravity low and away from the face. This extreme toe weigthing optimizes the launch angle and provides for a consitently high yet penetrating trajectory. All this innovation is only made possible by the lightweight titanium face insert that allows more weight to be shifted out to the bottom and perimeter areas of the clubface. All this means better iron shots that are much easier to hit.

Most super game improvement irons are designed to help amatuer golfers get the ball up in the air - a common problem with high handicappers, but something that most recreational golfers can use help with. The Ping Rapture V2s do such a great job of making it easy to hit the ball up in the air with a steep launch angle and a high flying trajectory that the lofts on these golf irons are stronger than you would find on a standard golf iron set. This means golfers can generate greater distance with each iron without sacrificing control.

Highly Forgiving Rapture V2 Irons

The Ping Rapture V2 Irons are with maximum forgiveness and most distance that is designed for golfers who seek max-game-improvement technology.

The ping v2 rapture irons own multi-metal technology allows us to create an iron that launches higher, straighter shots. The density of the tungsten sole weight to position the center of gravity low and farther back, while the lightweight titanium face increases ball speed. This design lets all player types hit longer shots with maximum forgiveness. At address the game-improvement design features disappear.

Have You Bought G20 Irons?

There is a special synergy between the golfer and their precision clubs and the better the interaction, the more the play flows. The ping g20 irons are truly synergistic in their design, allowing the energy to flow directly between golfer and ball with no resistance.

With each and every season ping continues to evolve its lineup, and while there’s hardly a product revolution from one year to the next, evolutionary improvement is all but a given. The ping g20 irons′ are the evolution of the extremely popular G15. While the g20 irons aren’t the most forgiving club in the current PING lineup that distinction belongs to the K15, they could comfortably take on any other manufacturers super game-improvement irons and more than hold they own.

Compared with the famous g15 series, the ping g20 irons have the same success. The ping g20 driver shows the same head with the former production, sole thicknesses, lofts and shaft lengths as G15, along with several new features that aids feel forgiveness and distance. Ping engineers, for example, strengthened the “Custom Tuning Port” (CTP) in the rear cavity. The reinforced CTP combines with an elastomeric badge to reduce face vibration and dampen shock.

We felt as though Ping could have been more ambitious in separating the look of the g20 irons on the shelf from its predecessor. The cosmetic changes do not reflect the improvements made. The new CFS is the steel stock offering from Ping. It helped to produce a long flight on test. The TFC 169 is the graphite offering and will help anyone looking for a higher launch. Ping's stock grip provided plenty of grips when tested in both dry and wet conditions. It is slightly thicker than most stock offerings and was an impressive performer. Extreme perimeter weighting  within the stainless steel head helps to improve forgiveness and accuracy. This extra weight is found by making the face of the club extremely thin. The cavity badge is made from aluminum with soft elastomer in the heel and toe. This helps to provide a better feel. The hosel-to-head transition is designed to inspire confidence.

G20 Irons, Lowest Price, Best Irons

As we all know, ping is a high grade golf set, it is an American brand of high-quality golf equipment, as well as one of the largest of the remaining American manufacturers of golf clubs, based in Phoenix, Arizona, founded by Karsten Solheim, who was an engineer at the General Electric Company.

Ping offers a variety of shaft flexes in steel and graphite to meet every golfer's needs and preferences. Selecting the proper shaft flex for your swing will help you get the most distance and accuracy from every shot. Generally, players with faster swing speeds require stiffer shafts to keep the ball trajectory lower, while players with slower swing speeds will require more flexible shafts to produce a higher ball trajectory.

Now, the ping has a new production, ping g20 irons. The g20 irons feature a new Custom Tuning Port which expands perimeter weighting and increases MOI. The thinner face of the G20 Iron helps position weight to the toe for added forgiveness. The wider sole provides a higher launch angle. Strong lofts and a low center of gravity produce long shots with a high trajectory and maximum forgiveness. The pingg20 is very similar to the G15's, with a slightly wider sole. The cavity of these irons features a very similar look to the G15's but with a new soft layer on the back to help with sound, feel and vibrations. The steel shafts also look new, with more evenly spaced steps than the traditional AWT shafts, with a unique and interesting feel.

Ping is built on a foundation of innovation and trust that continues to offer game-changing technology and the most extensive fitting process in golf. Golfers have been relying on ping golf set for nearly 50 years to help lower their scores and bringing greater enjoyment to their games. Today, PING game-improvement products can be found in more than 70 countries.

I bought this golf set several days ago, it is very well to use, now I am glad to introduce to you, after using these golf sets, my ball skills have improved rapidly, at the same time, it is also a great gift to your family or friends.

About Ping G15 Irons

It is 50 years since Ping pioneer Karsten Solheim first ventured into his garage and began to tinker with golf clubs.
In the half-century that has followed Karsten and his family have revolutionised the game of golf with passion, engineering skills and a desire to seek innovation and demand quality.
To celebrate their 50th anniversary Ping has introduced what it calls "our most comprehensive product launch in history."
Replacing the hugely successful and brilliantly performing G10 and i10 ranges was never going to be an easy task for Ping engineers, but with the launch of two new entire lines - G15 and i15 - they look to have produced another pair of winners.
As chairman and CEO John Solheim explained at the recent launch, the new hardware has clearly identified the two categories of player - 'G-Man' and 'I-Guy' - and the new ranges have been designed with differing playing characteristic and benefits for these distinct groups.
The new G15 irons from Ping have been designed with the game improver in mind.
Like the Rapture V2's, they offer maximum forgiveness but are a subtler proposition aesthetically.
Released to supersede the G10 range they feature a wide sole which enables them to sit comfortably behind the ball and a large offset which positions the hands forwards.
This provides those who may have trouble getting the ball airborne with a confident feeling that this can be achieved and this indeed proved to be the case.
There was consistent feel throughout the irons and those shots that came out of the toe (due to a dodgy swing!) still managed to make their way airborne and carry over a forgiving distance.
One pleasant surprise was that during the backswing the club head felt weighted in such a way that I was aware of its position and so found it easier to control my current golfing curse, the over-swing.
Ping have released another winner, one that the mid- to high-handicapper will love, and although there are never any guarantees that a new set of irons will reduce your handicap I believe that these clubs will provide you with a very good chance of doing so.

First Impression on G20 Driver

When the G20 first arrived to THP I couldn’t wait to open the box. For a company that doesn’t saturate you with marketing, PING managed to provide some subtle buzz leading up to this club’s release and once I opened the box I saw that the subtle buzz was well justified. Holding the G20 in your hand makes you just stare at the club in wonderment. You notice a powerful yet elegant shape made of titanium that just wants you to unleash it on some poor unsuspecting golf ball. Sure the profile is large and slightly elongated (460cc) but it’s not huge where you feel like you’re swinging a small SUV on a stick. When you first waggle the club you feel that the balance and weighting is perfect which is due to the shaft being weighted slightly above its center while maintaining the feel and weight of the club head. Although the external weight has been moved from the heel to the back of the club you barely notice it at address. I’ll touch on the shaft a little later but in terms of looks it’s very similar to what was offered last year in the G15 and the K15 and meshes well with the overall look of the G20.
The PING G20 driver is a contender for a full time spot in my bag. It still has some work to do, as do I, but this driver makes it worth putting time in on the range and on the course. Although I’m generally not a fan of the stock shaft for myself and my game, I think for the most part it will be fine for the majority of golfers out there. I wish PING would join the movement by other companies who are including upgraded stock shafts as a part of their stock club offering. I understand why PING doesn’t do this as they firmly believe in their fitting system but for how long before PING fans begin to slowly take their loyalty, and more importantly, their money to other options?
Aside from that, there’s not much to complain about with the G20 driver. It retails for $299 and is definitely worth a few swings at your favorite golf store or pro shop if you’re in the market for a new driver. The performance and potential of this driver are hard to ignore so don’t. Once you master it, you, and everyone else will know about the sound this driver makes when you hit it flush. That alone is worth the price once you experience that.

Ideal Christmas Gift–Ping G20 Hybrid

If you’re wondering what the best Christmas gifts for golfer boyfriends are for this year, wonder no more! We’ve prepared some great deals on wholesale golf equipment for Christmas. Great Discount at wholesaleclubsgolf.com. Interestingly, Ping went the opposite direction of the driver/woods and actually made the face of the G20 hybrids more compact while adding bounce and camber to improve turf interaction.

The offset hosel design and flatter lie angle are the main features of Ping G20 Hybrid. The offset hosel design helps the G20 hybrids create the high launch and low spin that improve your accuracy. A large, internal weight inside the 17-4 stainless steel head provides forgiveness and distance.

The Ping G20 Hybrid takes the initial concept from the G15 and improves on it in a  number of aspects according to Ping. Feedback from previous TG tests have compared the newer Ping hybrids to driving irons but Ping insist the clubs are designed and shaped specifically with good reason.

Ping K15 Series Review

Ping K15 including K15 driver, fairway wood, irons and hybrid offer another wonderful choice for golfers who demand for more speeds and increased distance. Ping golf is famous for its innovations used in clubs, and this K15 line also does not disappoint us. Ping K15 Driver most features its Straight Flight Technology (SFT). This technology positions 10% of the head’s mass toward the heel, promoting more face rotation and a straighter ball flight. Ping K15 Driver has a head of 460cc which helps move weight away from clubface, allowing for a backward center of gravity and high trajectory. The length from heel to toe is increased to create a larger surface for higher forgiveness and more ball speeds. The K15 driver uses a design that largely conceals its external sole weight pad. This driver also features the Ultra-Thin Crown Technology which has successfully redistributed a weight of 8 grams to the external weight pad and further optimized the center of gravity (CG) and moment of inertia (MOI). "As you start to swing down, the weight wants to rotate the clubhead and close it to square," said Solheim, Ping’s Vice President. "The nice thing is that the K15 doesn't have a draw face or a closed head, so it really doesn't want to go past the square position. It really just wants to go back to square and stay there."

Ping K15 Irons is a hybrid set made up of multi-metal irons and high launching hybrids for maximum forgiveness. The titanium face and steel body create a higher MOI for greater accuracy and consistent distance. The wide-soled irons feature a low and deep CG position to promote higher trajectories. Ping K15 Hybrid has an iron-style head with offset to create a more dynamic launch than previous models. This helps get the ball in the air more easily. The multi-metal irons design of Ping K15 Hybrid combines a large, lightweight titanium face with a 17–4 stainless-steel body to increase forgiveness and improve launch conditions. Ping K15 Fairway Wood is made to accompany the irons, hybrids and driver in the same line. It features the same Straight Flight Technology as the K15 driver to deliver extremely straight shots. Its large and low profile design as well as elongated face increases the MOI and promote ball speeds.

Ping G10 Series Review

The Ping G10 is the latest addition to the company’s “G” family. With this line, Ping has gained high popularity among a wide range of golfers. Ping G10 line incorporates g10 driver, fairway wood, hybrid and irons. Ping G10 driver has a large clubhead of 460cc. Its head features a larger profile with a taller face and deeper crown for higher moment of inertia (MOI) to provide higher forgiveness and increased ball velocity. Ping’s engineers optimize the crown, sole and face structure by using finite element analysis with Cray Supercomputer to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball. The crown is designed thinner, which saves some weight. The saved weight is positioned inside the club head to lower the center of gravity for reduced spin and higher launch. G10 driver also features famous Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology to produce a thin, highly responsive hitting surface for increased ball speeds and greater consistency across the entire face.

Ping G10 Fairway Wood is designed with low center of gravity for far, high and straight hits. Its special face design saves some weight, allowing engineers to place the saved weight at key place to produce higher launch angle. An internal weight pad with a weight accounting for 23% of the total club weight is placed on sole, near the face. It helps lower center of gravity to achieve more ball speeds and lower spin rate for maximum distance. Like the driver, g10 fairway wood also features the VFT technology to offer higher speed and make the face more durable, helping golfers achieve excellent performance. It also has a special sole design. The head providing optimal trajectory is flatter than previous models, making sole more closed to ground to inspire golfers’ confidence at address. It is also easier to launch ball, transfer power for high launch angle and more distance. Both G10 Hybrid and g10 irons are constructed of 17-4 stainless steel. The hybrid has a sloped crown for high-launching and solid feel. There are 6 lofts provided for replacement. It also features the VFT technology. The Ping G10 Hybrid sole design is tapered and the bounce height is increased in the higher lofted hybrids to provide performance from all conditions. The irons feature Custom Tuning Port (CTP) which allows engineers to stabilize the hitting area to produce consistently high ball speed across the entire face.

Ping Rapture V2 Black Dot Irons 3-9PS Review

New product in 2009—PING Rapture V2 irons adopted multi-material for its core part including stainless steel (shaft), titanium (clubface), tungsten (sole increased weight) and synthetic rubber (groove insert). The most outstanding feature of this iron series is its higher launch angle, so Ping designers can create more advantageous face angle. The result is further hitting distance. Ping designer Brad Schweigert said the hitting distance provided by Rapture V2 long irons and medium irons is 7 to 10 yards further than G10 irons. Comparing Rapture V2 irons with G10 irons released before, it seems that most golfers prefer to irons with longer hitting distance. But this is not the fact. With the increased hitting distance, there appears another problem for golfers. That is distance control. So although V2 irons can let ball fly like a rocket, it is hard to say that professional golfers or amateur players of low handicap will choose this V2 with lightweight titanium face. Compared with thicker and heavier steel-made face irons, the irons with thinner and lighter titanium face can provide freer swing but are not good at distance control. So, as the replacement of S58, S57 is mainly aimed to high-level golfers who always need to ensure accurate hitting distance. The chief designer of this product is the champion of earlier PGA tour Mike Nicolette. He adopted classical stainless steel blade design and embedded tungsten insert in toe. According to Ping, S57 has MOI which is 5% higher than S58, which means higher stability, better consistency and higher repeatability. All of these are needed by a excellent iron.

The new spokesman of Ping Hunter Mahan highly praised these new released irons. He got 62 shots in his first round on Barclays Championship with these new Ping Rapture V2 Black Dot Irons. He said: “It is easy to control the ball with these irons.”

Ping K15 Fairway Wood Review

K15 driver shows Ping’s super strength on game improvement, which is the preference of medium and high handicappers, and its great craft also catches attention of high-level golfers. This Ping K15 Fairway Wood also continues the exceptional performance of K15 series. According to PING, like k15 driver, Ping k15 fairway wood also uses Straight Flight Technology (SF Tec) which can provide maximum forgiveness, making this fairway wood practical both on fairway and the greens. This technology can help golfers hit straighter. The biggest feature of K15 fairway wood look is its long and shallow face. A large profile and bigger face create a sizeable increase in MOI. This design positions the center of gravity back to produce high launch and low spin for gaining yards. The Ping’s patented SF Tec moves more weights (6%) to head heel to decrease fade trend. Ping K15 lengthens the face to increase the MOI, ensuring forgiving results across the hitting surface. It also promotes clean contact and faster ball speeds for added distance. The optimal CG location, low and far from face, increases MOI by 25%. This Ping fairway wood can provide more flight distance and more ideal flight trajectory. Its ultra-stable head design helps golfers achieve more stability and distance for the most ideal flight shots. The perfect visual effect, ideal head design and more back CG allow golfers to create higher flight shots on any kind of conditions.

The face angle of irons is smaller and smaller while that of fairway wood becomes larger and larger. For example, the face angle of 3 wood is usually 15°, but the face angle of K15 3 wood reaches 16°for higher flight. There are some players who tested Ping K15 Fairway Wood from its look, hand feel, sound feedback, distance, accuracy and forgiveness. The distance provided by this Fairway wood is similar to the driver in the same line. Most testers found that the shots were left inclined, which indicates K15 fairway wood is fitter for golfers who have problem on fade.

Ping K15 Driver Review

Ping K15 Driver is designed for golfers who are seeking high forgiveness, long distance and high accuracy. Combining a large-profile 460cc head and a club face that is longer heel to toe, K15 Driver provides low and back center of gravity which helps to create strong trajectories and low backspin, leading to high MOI. The MOI is sizeable for consistent performance across the hitting surface. The most important technology incorporated in Ping K15 Driver is Straight Flight Technology, called SF Tec by Ping. Ping K15 Driver use SF Tec to move 10% of the head’s mass to the heel, promoting more face rotation and a straighter ball flight. This technology is an innovation of Ping and helps K15 Driver a lot to square the club face for consistently straight tee shots. For the part of shaft, Ping K15 Driver adopted TFC 149D shaft. Ping K15 Driver utilizes a special carbon shaft and high balance point technology. The gravity of the shaft is 2” higher than standard design, increasing the start speed and MOI for longer distance and more accurate.

Our testers say: Ping K15 Driver is one of the best drivers for feel, playability and distance. The head is designed for higher accurate and forgiving. Some testers gain up to 10 to 15 yards with Ping K15 Driver. It realizes the least distance loss on less than perfectly struck shots. Ping K15 Driver focuses on straightness, and it did that. The K15 allows good stability across the entire face. With Ping K15 Driver, players rarely lose shots to the right. Ping K15 Driver becomes the best antidote for the slicers. For the part of its look, many testers hold the opinions that the massive and elongated crown of Ping K15 Driver inspires confidence, and the small visual aid on crown draws some praise.

Ping K15 Irons Review

The Ping K15 Series is one piece of the most recent expansion of PING’s famous product line. The latest Ping K15 irons are improved. Ping K15 Irons are the hybrid set including multi-metal irons and high launching hybrids. The larger K15 iron combines a lightweight titanium face with a stainless-steel body to increase both forgiveness and launch conditions. This is created for players who benefit from a greatest forgiveness design. The wide-soled Ping K15 Irons feature a low and deep center of gravity position, which can promote higher trajectories. Ping K15 Irons come with the option of up to four hybrids (3-6). Two stainless steel hybrids offer options to replace traditional 5 or 6 irons. The 3- and 4-hybrids allow higher launching shots that fly straighter and longer. K15 Irons are the absolute choice for slower swing speed golfers. Compared with Ping I15 Irons, K15 Irons allow more forgiveness and straightness, while I15 Irons are mainly designed for better players.

Our testers say: Ping K15 Irons are extremely forgiving, high-trajectory irons that can reduce your tendency to slice. That is to say, K15 Irons increase the stability. Judged from the aspect of distance control, K15 Irons are not overwhelmingly long, but length is consistent throughout the set. Besides, K15 Irons provide subtle feedback on mis-hits but is never unpleasant; K15 Irons have crisp sensation when struck in the middle of the face; K15 has outstanding stability on all shots. About the look of Ping K15 Irons, the testers say that at address, the sizable back cavity and large sole are well hidden; K15 Irons adopted the classic Ping style which many testers like.

Ping K15 Irons for Beginners and High Handicappers

Ping has created a plenty of exceptional clubs for golfers such as its G-line, i-line and K-line. The Ping K15 Irons deliver better performance than its predecessors do. It is remarkably solid which gives a fluid feel to golfers. The best part about the Ping K15 Irons is that they are built to offer lower spin and higher ball flight, which means you can land the ball softly and stick it on the green right by the pin. This also means that you have more forgiveness and do not have to hit the ball directly with the center of the clubface every single time in order to get the ball flight you are after. Extremely forgiving, the Ping K15 Irons are suitable for beginners as well as golfers of high handicap. If you find it difficult to get the ball airborne or have problems with the alignment, these Ping K15 Irons are the optimal option for you. They allow golfers to enjoy a consistent and high trajectory throughout the whole set with the inclusion of strengthened lofts.

The key technologies used in Ping K15 Irons include: a lightweight titanium face insert which helps move 27 grams to the perimeter and sole to increase forgiveness, a broad sole that lowers the center of gravity (CG) for higher shots while internal weighting stabilizes the clubhead through impact. These chunky irons won't win many prizes when it comes to workability, but for forgiveness and ease of use, they're up there with anything else in the super game-improver category. In addition, the K15 is a set that is designed with hybrid long/mid irons blended with traditional mid/short irons. Many golfers hit further with their hybrids than with their long irons which will add to the appeal of this new set of clubs. Hybrids in the K15 Irons span from 3-6, but 5 and 6 irons will also be available, giving golfers the flexibility to optimize their set by choosing the clubs that they prefer to play with.

New Ping G20 Driver for All Ability Levels

The clubs made by Ping become better and better because they are made based on the success of predecessors. This new Ping G20 Driver is further improved by combining the best qualities from two of their drivers from last season, the K15 and G15. Ping has a staunch following that borders on fanaticism yet they always offer clubs that may look ‘plain’ or ‘boring’ but lately their designs are slowly emerging from those shells while still maintaining their core values. This Ping G20 Driver is designed for players of all abilities, featuring large external weighting that helps launch the ball high with low spin for maximum distance and accuracy.

At the mention of Ping G20 Driver, many golfers will think of its high-balance-point TFC 169D shaft which helps a lot in its improvements. The shaft enables golfers to swing a club head with more mass at the same speed, creating a higher MOI and generating faster ball speeds for long, straight drives. You may choose either a TFC 169D or TFC 169D Tour shaft to produce a softer feel. When compared head-to-head against the previous G15, the G20 produces a 0.75 degree increase in launch angle, with 200 RPM less spin, and 1MPH increased ball speed off center hits. The 460cc clubhead is made from Ti 8-1-1, a lighter, lower-density alloy. Ti 8-1-1’s high strength-to-weight ratio allows for additional weight to be strategically located, increasing the MOI on both the vertical and horizontal axis.

Ping G20 Driver appears at the recent Open Championship. With nine being used, it has become the most popular model. John A. Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO, said, “Our engineers optimized the clubs to fit and benefit golfers of all skill levels.  In the driver, we’re using for the first time a titanium alloy called Ti 8-1-1, which allows us to improve the weighting to better optimize the entire clubhead.”
